Drawing for for the Ten Dragons deal. He gave the following request:
"I once wrote a description of a certain sea creature. Can you take that description, and apply it to a Western dragon? ...Seventy feet long. Pure silver with a long conical snout. A thick triangular head the size of a Volkswagen. Eyes bigger than bowling balls. Razor-sharp serrated teeth, nine inches. A crescent shaped tail, with a long, raked vertical blade and a shorter lower blade. A tall dorsal fin that cut a path through the night sky like a hot knife through butter. One of the greatest and most terrifying predators to ever exist in the sea. Carcharodon Megalodon. Or as someone else put it, 'Two words: Jurassic Shark.'"
I dunno if this is what you were expecting, Mouse, but it's what came to mind. Sort of a sea-dragon with a "Jaws" vibe...
Hmmm, I've done a shark-dragon, a cat-dragon, and a Bayformer-dragon... maybe next time I should just have people give me animals or characters and draw dragons based on them.
There was actually a movie on that subject too. They called it "Piranha II: The Spawning". It was described in one book as "a strong contender for anyone's list of all-time horror turkeys". However, the director apparently gained useful experience from it, using certain techniques learned here for the animatronics in one of his later films.
And I like the dragon too. I didn't have a clear image in mind (just a description of a shark), but now that I see her, I like her.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.

Q: How many Transformers fans does it take to change a light bulb?
A: Eight. One to change it, and the rest to complain that the light bulb was so much better back in the 80s.
I support well-written, in-character fanfic!
