My boss at the library, sadly, has decided we will no longer be carrying the Transformers comics. Not because parents have complained, but because the binding on these books is so bad that it doesn't hold up well to multiple readings. (Something was also said about IDW having "the worst bindings I've ever seen in a comic book.") So most of the Transformers comics (except the 2007 movie comic and some Armada manga) have been deleted from our collection... and given to me.

So these are two of the three books I received. The third was a second copy of "Hearts of Steel," which I ended up giving to a friend. Hey, I don't need two copies.

As for the "terrible binding" issue... yeah, pages are falling out of these. But I figure I'll just pull the comics apart, put the pages into clear plastic sheet protectors, and put them in a binder. That way I can still read and enjoy them.
