The Autobots had many friends among the humans of Earth, the closest being the Witwicky family of course. Spike, his father Sparkplug, and his newlywed wife Carly had come to the Autobots' aid too many times to count and even called the Ark their home. "She's doing it again, Soundwave," Starscream informed the Communications Officer, peering out the doorway of the control room and into the corridor.

"Specify her activities," Soundwave ordered, his visor never leaving the screen he was working on.

"Come see for yourself," Starscream snapped. "I'm not one of your midget lackeys."

It was a hot day in London. To be exact, it was a hot, muggy, sticky day in London that seemed to suck the very oxygen out of the air, and so far the eighth in an unbroken streak of hot and sticky days that seemed bound and determined to suffocate the city in a heavy blanket of its own fumes. Uncle T and the MudkipAUTHOR'S NOTE:  This story fits in the "Thundercracker's Glory" universe, between chapters 8 and 9.  It's not vital to the plotline, just a little exercise in silliness.  Enjoy.

Thundercracker was on his computer, ready to run a raid with his guild in World of Warcraft, when Glory scurried into their quarters, an eager shine in her optics.

"Uncle T, Uncle T, can I keep it?"

"Just a minute, Glory," Thundercracker informed her, and he fired off a quick message to his raid party:

RollOfThunder: Going AFK for a bit.

NakeMaco:  Sure thing.

"Oh, hey Arcee," he greeted, raising the hand holding his stylus and offering a wave. "Come in and make yourself comfortable while I finish this up."

Jazz gave an ecstatic whoop as the final notes of "Free Bird" died away, hefting the guitar-shaped controller into the air as if displaying a battle trophy.  The gesture earned a round of enthusiastic applause from his audience, both human and mech, and he grinned brightly.  Sunshine, music, an appreciative audience, and an afternoon off -- that was a recipe for a perfect day right there in his book.

Sunstreaker's trademark scowl was still plastered across his face as he, that fragged jolly Porsche, and the galumphing Dinobot crossed the slashed and scorched turf that remained of Hogwarts' grounds, chunks of sod ripped away and stains of giant blood and Autobot fluids spattering the grass here and there. He should be watching over his brother, making sure no giants returned to finish the idiot off (and that one that had hacked off his legs -- and LAUGHED all the while -- would pay for his crime...). Thundercracker's Glory Part 9Glory wriggled herself deeper into the gap between two of the storage crates and curled up tightly, still clutching Dragon under one arm and hardly daring to cycle air.  In the months she had lived here she had explored every sector of the Nemesis that she was allowed to wander (and a few sectors that were technically off-limits) and had learned of almost every nook and cranny that was large enough for her to squeeze into.  Such knowledge served her well in her day-to-day exploits -- hiding places while playing games with the Stunticons, plotting and staging grounds when she and the cassettes concocted pranks, or far more often as sanctuaries

Thundercracker's Glory Pt. 13Ravage bolted from the airlock and into the Nemesis, dripping wet and tendrils of seaweed caught in his joints and dangling from his ears and missiles.  Hissing in distaste, he gave himself a vigorous shake like a wet turbohound, sending droplets of salt spray and scraps of vegetable matter flying in every direction.  No one bothered to snap at the cassette-panther for the action -- everyone was just as wet and filthy, and whatever contribution Ravage had made to their state didn't make too much difference.

I've made it something of a weird and perverse hobby to keep track of books at the library that happen to share titles with Transformers. :XD: I know the authors most likely didn't do it on purpose, but it still makes me chuckle whenever I come across, say, Clive Cussler's Shockwave, Dick Francis' Smokescreen, Alastair MacLean's Red Alert, or Karen Robard's Beachcomber. Too bad the likelihood of an author coming out with a Megatron, Optimus, or Unicron book is rather slim. :XD:

Anyhow, I came across Catherine Coulter's Knock Out and Sara Paretsky's Breakdown some time ago, and it amused me that not only did they share titles with two of my favorite TFP Decepticons, but the colors of the covers were pretty close matches to the TF's colors. So when I finally got my hands on both toys... well, I had to get a photo op. :XD:

Used large print versions of both books because the colors were more vibrant. Books courtesy of our local library.

Hahaha that is an awesome idea :D but i know what you mean XD. I was working in a car factory and everytime we got a red and a blue car i was like "Look, there comes Breakdown and Knockout" and everybody was staring at me like i was mad *LOL* XD And everytime someone says "Oh my i am so KO today" i starting to laugh XD. And sorry for my crappy english ^^;

I'd say the publishers were closet TF fans, except that the book on the left came out years before TFP did... so just a wonderful coincidence. :D
