DeviantArt's Birthday
PainGot a headache and Tylenol hasn't touched it. Bleah. Maybe it's lack of sleep, or maybe it has something to do with having the stereo blaring all evening, seeing as my copy of the Transformers soundtrack finally came in. Not the live-action one, which I thought was mediocre, but the 1986 animated one. Ten bucks on Amazon.com -- not bad in my book. Let's hear it for cheesy '80s rock and hair metal!
Thundercracker costume coming along slowly. Bleah again. At least I'm not lacking in supplies -- Mom turned me loose in the barn with the order to "get rid of some of our extra boxes" and has agreed to let me dig through her craft room for other supplies. And don't worry, I WILL post pictures of the costume. (And maybe a few of the process itself.)
In other news, DeviantArt has a birthday coming up. I was thinking of something special I could do for the occasion, and came up with an idea.
Since my strength lies more in writing than in drawing, I thought I would offer to write a short blurb for anyone who was interested to go with a particular drawing in their gallery. Nothing epic -- just 500 words telling a short story about the picture.
If you want to participate, tell me in the comments and include a link to the picture you'd like a 500-word story to go with. I'll try to get them done in a timely fashion and let you know when they're posted.

I have nothing against homosexuals as people. I just don't like to read about it. (Not much for reading about heterosexual sex either. Let's face it, romance isn't my bag...)
