I don't need to compromise my principles because they don't have the slightest bearing on what happens to me anyway. -- Calvin, Calvin and Hobbes
Argh...
Yeah, writing has ground to a complete standstill. I just... cannot manage to get anything written down. The ideas are there, it's just that when I sit down to write, I can't get my thoughts onto paper (or word processor, or what have you...). I desperately want to write, but I can't get inspired.
And yeah, you might have noticed that I've quit doing photocomics. Not sure if that's another case of a creativity slump or if I just don't have a desire to inflict my crappy photography and MS Paint skills on the world anymore.
I might try the "Ten Songs, Ten Stories" meme again to try and get the writing juices flowing again. If that doesn't help... does anyone have any suggestions for breaking a writer's block?
Also, life at home is still stressful. It's been ten months now since anyone at this house besides me has had a job, and now that my stepdad is going to be having surgery in a couple of weeks, it looks like he'll be jobless even longer. I am NOT looking forward to the holidays this year, which are stressful enough anyhow...
*sigh* When did I get so cynical anyhow?

Hang in there. If I could, I'd send your family enough jobs to go around. Try not to worry too much about the holidays: the Lord will provide.
Hm...writer's block. The 10 songs/10 stories isn't a bad idea. My other suggestions would be to let it rest for a while. Try a new hobby or something and let your literary muses have a break. Before you know it, the plot bunnies will return in full force.
The other idea? Watch/read the source material for whatever fandom you're working in. If it's Star Wars, re-watch some of the movies or read an EU book you haven't read yet. If it's TF, watch something from a different continuity than what you usually frequent. You just might stumble on something striking that sparks some inspiration.
Above all, however, don't try to force it. It will come back in it's own time.

Why yes, I do offer commissions
How about trying a small project for a while? If you have a example of a good idea for a funny rule for the decepticon base I would be glad to add it to my list.

Q: How many Transformers fans does it take to change a light bulb?
A: Eight. One to change it, and the rest to complain that the light bulb was so much better back in the 80s.
I support well-written, in-character fanfic!
