I've been wanting a Perceptor for awhile, and his Universe toy seemed like a nice one. Kup was an impulse buy, and his face is rather weird... but hey, he's Kup. I like the grouchy old codger.

Deszaras is one of my favorite obscure TFs, but his Japanese toy is expensive and his BotCon toy is not only expensive but looks nothing like him. So when I spotted a Heroes of Cybertron toy of him -- far more cartoon accurate and far cheaper -- I had to have him. Hey, it was five bucks. And I prefer to call him by his Japanese name -- Deathsaurus is just too corny.

For those who are curious, Perceptor DOES show up in the Victory anime... and for some reason the English dub calls him Dr. Bastard. Poor, poor Perceptor...
